This is a modified version of the original AM8 Metal Frame for Anet A8 by pheneeny. The goal is to make the AM8 printer portable by simplifying the process of separating the horizontal frame from the vertical frame, making it easier to transport and ship. This modification adds 40mm in height to both frames, allowing the PSU and mainboard to be housed under the Y-axis carriage. Inspired by the AnyCubic i3 Mega, this updated design requires minimal assembly, taking less than 5 minutes due to its pre-packaged structure.
