Use this adapter to attach a 10mm internal diameter hose to a portable air conditioner's drainage outlet, designed specifically for the Mistral MA10KR/D model. This DIY solution was created by molding clay into the threads of the end cap that normally covers the air conditioner's outlet and measuring its thread characteristics with calipers. Through several iterations, it was successfully fitted onto the unit. This adapter proves particularly useful when running the portable air conditioner as a dehumidifier in rooms filled with filament or other materials that release moisture. Without an external drainage system, the machine would quickly fill its internal reservoir and shut down. However, by attaching this adapter to a hose, you can redirect the drained water outside or into a larger container. If using a larger container, it's essential to keep it sealed to prevent evaporation and subsequent rehumidification of the air.
