to adapt 5" - 5.1" hose to the male receiver found in many portable air condition systems, including Haier brand. these portable air conditioners can be found on the second hand market for cheap, but often are missing this critical part to properly function. with this part you can use an off-the-shelf "window trim kit" for portable AC. the part is inserted into the hose and will require a hose clamp, or tape. the larger end with the tabs will be received by the portable AC. please verify your portable AC outlet is 5" and not 6" before printing.
