Suggested by my friend FedeMiller, this is a portable version of my micro SD card index rack with a sturdy base and lid that can hold 3 inch by 5 inch index cards for notation of micro SD card contents. The same 48-slot unit that fits the desktop stand will slide into this case even if it's populated with SD cards. It's held securely by a snap-rail when the index base is slid forward, and locked in place by the rear of the lid when it's closed. The lid pivots on the base with two pins that are glued into place when the lid is assembled to the base. I worked out the thicknesses of the base and lid through trial and error to print well without warping when printing ABS using a 25% gyroid infill. Other materials and infills may work, but I recommend using the lowest bed temperature possible while still maintaining good bed adhesion for best results. Supports are necessary only for supporting hinge pin holes.
