Portaberry-Remix
thingiverse
This is a remix of 3Derp's original design with updated features. It now boasts a new battery well, a main box that has been upgraded to accommodate a 4.3-inch HDMI integrated video screen, and it's designed around the Raspberry Pi 3 model. A comprehensive build sheet will be uploaded soon, but for now, users can access just the basic STLs. All of the other components of the build remain identical to the originals. Users can still access them from 3Derp's original project if needed. However, there is no build sheet or set of instructions available; instead, users can rely on the originals from both 3Derp and BigLazyB. Basics: The specs are as follows: Processor: Raspberry Pi 3 Display: 4.3-inch HDMI Monitor - Waveshare 4.3-inch HDMI LCD Resistive Touch Screen 480*272 High Resolution Display Battery: Lithium Ion Polymer 3.7v Rechargeable Battery 2500mAh (Adafruit Powerboost 1000c) Controls: Running Teensy 3.2 (Joystick, four action buttons, start/select, and two shoulder buttons) Sound: Two Mini 8 Ohm speakers running Stereo TPA2016 or a stereo 3.5mm headphone jack Operating System: RetroPie (latest version) Print Settings: Printer Brand: MakerBot Printer: MakerBot Replicator 2X Rafts: Yes Supports: No Resolution: Medium Infill: 20-30% Notes: The front of the case would curl at the edges, but I was able to reduce it as much as possible by printing directly onto the platform with just a layer of acetone slurry instead of expensive tape. Post-Printing: Clean-up and Fitting: Some holes had to be drilled out slightly and some interior edges required cleaning up.
