Designer's Note: I've run out of my INLAND PLA+ Peak Green filament, so the other color you see is INLAND PLA+ True Red. I think they complement each other nicely, adding a pop to the design. This is my first foray into creating and designing 3D printing or CAD software projects. My passion for Board Gaming led me to explore this field, and now I'm excited to contribute something to the community that might inspire others to create their own custom board game designs. I highly recommend TINKERCAD for new designers; it's simple, fast to learn, and was used to design this project. This design aimed to match the board game's aesthetic - a square board with a circular rondel for player movement, divided into four quadrants representing different areas of play. However, upon printing, I realized that Porta Insert_1 only held a limited number of pieces, and the quadrants made it difficult to retrieve items. To address this, I redesigned Porta Insert_2 to hold all remaining pieces by eliminating the quadrants, doubling the tower piece holders, and adding two removable boxes for player pieces and other accessories. While Porta Insert_2 is a bit tight in terms of space, everything fits with some strategic stacking - especially when combining starting money with player pieces. The remaining quadrant in Porta Insert_1 can store items like plastic standees or cardboard horse riders. To optimize storage, I left the original insert in the box to minimize 3D printing material usage. Cards are divided between the two inserts: all cards except for Player cards go into Insert_1, while everything else is stored in Insert_2 with Player cards sliding onto each side of the removable boxes. The Player Box and Bits Box can be removed from Insert_2 and set on the table to hold items, or used as a secondary storage container if needed. To print this design, you'll need three separate components: Porta Insert_1, Porta Insert_2, Porta Player Box, and Porta Bits Box.
