This is a straightforward tool for installing RMS (Rear main seal) on Porsche 996 and 986 engines. When the tool is fully seated against the flywheel flange, the seal will be positioned precisely 13mm below the crankshaft flange. Use the flywheel bolts to press the tool firmly into place along with the seal. Keep in mind that the correct orientation of the tool is crucial for avoiding interference with the rivet located on the flywheel flange.
