This design excels when printed with a semi-flexible material that offers some elasticity. I typically print mine in PETG, which enables the models to have sufficient flexibility at a 15-20% infill to be easily pushed into the pin rest. They can also be removed this way, though due to the angle of the hatch release, you may need to remove it in order to take them out effectively.
