SummaryEverything should be resin printed except the chassis (which should be PLA).ALSO,,,,, Please note, due to Sketchup not liking very small dimensions, the wheels should be printed at 25%Unless stated, superglueand accelerator should be used and threadlock glue may be needed for the contrate gear (depending on make used).Glue the "T" piece between the top chassis rails.Cut a 6mm length of 1.2mm wire for the guide pin and glue into the front hole flush with the top surface.Cut axles from straight 1.5mm wire and 2 X2mm lengths of brass tube for rear bearings then using the axle to ensure alignment carefully glue the bearings in the slots at the rear.....the best way being to apply a tiny amount with a toothpick, spray then a little more glue and spray again until the glue has built up to surface level.Fit traction magnets flush with the bottom of the chassis and glue in place.Fit pinion to motor and install, check fit and if OK, superglue the motor in place (negative should be on right as viewed from front.Trim the wires so that they are around 10mm longer than the front of the chassis and strip around 6mm off the insulation.Poke the bare wires through the holes either side of the front and secure with copper tape. The rectangular plate is then slid over the guide, braids fitted so they contact the copper and the plate is held in place by a small screw.Fit rear axle and gear and check for a good mesh then if everything is good, then fit wheels (you may need to ream the holes with a 1.5mm drill). For the tyres, mix and pour silicone rubber into the mould box and leave for a few days in a level place.Once cured, the mould can be piggled from the box with a small screwdriver, the polyuretane mixed and poured into the mould - it`s best to just apply a small amount to each hole to allow it to settle and avoid air bubbles but speed is important as well as pot life can be short.Paint body, fit tyres and check body fit - the chassis may need a slight trim at the sides. If all`s well, cut a few thin strips of thin card, arrange them across the wheel wells so that they keep the body clear of the tyres, hold the chassis in the body.......another quick look to make sure everything looks OK then a little drop of glue either end off the sills, a blast of glue and have fun testing your 911.How I Designed ThisThis model is designed to fit the N20 size motor (as used by MegaG+ slot cars).Additional materials needed for car......1.5mm music wire for axles plus brass tubing to suit for rear axle bearings.1.2mm music wire for guide pin.N20 motor.Braids and self adhesive copper tape.Gears (MegaG+ as motor shaft is 1mm).4mmX3mm Neodymium traction magnets.Additional materials for tyres........Silicone rubber for making the mould.Shore A50 black polyurethane for tyres.
