The highly detailed Porsche 911 Carrera Cabriolet 2017 model boasts a soft top for open or closed roof display, plus accurate headlights and taillights. Doors can be opened, and tires are modeled. Created mainly with SubDivision/TurboSmooth surface, the resolution is easily adjustable in 3ds Max or Maya 2013 versions. Low-resolution .obj, .fbx, and .lwo files can also be edited in software that supports SubDivision surfaces. The base version has 1,287,670 polygons; for software without SubDivision support, two resolutions ranging from 1,287,670 to 4,875,732 polygons are available. In Max 2010 format, TurboSmooth is applied for custom resolution control, and doors are animated. Maya 2013 includes a selection set for SubDivision surfaces and an interior display layer. The Maya 2010, FBX, Cinema 4D 9.6, Lwo 6.0, and .obj formats provide two resolutions with separate exterior and interior files. Previews were rendered in 3ds Max using VRay, though VRay materials and light settings are not included.
