Porsche 356 Speedster Body Shell for Slot Car

<p>There are two versions of this model:</p><p><strong>Porsche_356_Speedster_Body_Shell =</strong> Just the body of the 356 Speedster <strong>Porsche_356_Speedster_Slot_Car_Body =</strong> The body plus internal reinforcements and chassis mounting provisions</p><p>Approximate scale = 1:32 &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; Body shell thickness = 1.6 mm</p><h5>My other slot car designs:</h5><p><a href="https://www.printables.com/model/165001-porsche-911-gt2-slot-car-body">Porsche 911 GT2</a></p><p><a href="https://www.printables.com/model/165017-pickup-truck-slot-car">Pickup Truck</a></p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>This model was created from the surfaces in the <a href="https://grabcad.com/library/porsche-356-speedster-1">Porsche 356 Speedster model Alex Worsfold posted on GrabCAD.</a></p><p>I took Alex's model and closed all the panel gaps and gave the whole body surface a thickness. I then removed a quarter of that thickness to create the grooves that define the panel gaps for the hood, doors, and engine lid.</p><p><strong>Notes:</strong></p><p>As the model is thin (1.6 mm thick) I recommend printing with 100% infill. Although, depending on the number of shells you specify, the infill percentage may not even come into play.</p><p><i>*Enjoy and if you print one please post a make!*</i></p>
