Modern specimen of the tulip snail Fasciolaria tulipa features numerous small holes carefully crafted by the boring sponge Cliona celata. These dwelling traces are expertly described as Entobia. This remarkable specimen originates from Florida and forms a valuable part of the teaching collections at the Paleontological Research Institution in Ithaca, New York. The length of its shell measures approximately 10 cm. This exceptional model was created by Emily Hauf.
