Consider that: A print that's too tight could damage your device, rendering it useless. A print that's too loose could leave the integrity of your device compromised. Just because my printed item proved to install perfectly and be leak-tight meant I was happy to use it in a practical application. It was my risk to take. Your results may well differ considerably, and as such, I urge you to exercise extreme caution if you're considering attempting to modify a respirator. The Item: This plug is designed to block the spare hole left from removing a standard filter from a popular brand of respirator, likely required if fitting the adapter: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4223343 It allows for utilization of the white stuck-on gasket that comes with the OEM filters (so don't chuck them away just yet!). Important Info: I suggest printing with 4 walls and tops and bottoms. With 20% gyroid infill. And a concentric support structure to allow for bridging of the rim. I would advise against using a brim, but it's essential to keep bed temperature as low as you dare in order to avoid an elephant's foot, which will make fitting of the part difficult and increase post-print sanding. (You could if you wish print it upside down with the same support settings as I advised for the adapter; I imagine this would also work.) Please note when fitting that one of the 4 tabs is slightly smaller than the other 3. This is the one to line up with the arrow on the mask/respirator. I've worked hard on this model to try and ensure good accuracy and tab fitment, but I am by no means a professional. So I hope it works for you.
