This device is engineered to detect and align with Qi-enabled gadgets, using a swappable grip base from a PopSocket attachment. The goal is to position it precisely at the charging coil's center, found in most phones. On my iPhone 11, the Qi charging loop is roughly centered. I've placed the PopSocket base right in the middle of the phone's back, ensuring accurate alignment with the charger. To achieve this, I applied a small amount of hot glue to secure the printed part on the IKEA Nordmarke charger. This method should work with any flat charger. If your phone has a unique Qi charging loop location, you might need to adjust the positioning before attaching the printed part to your charger. Take note that the PopSocket attachment must be sized correctly to engage the black plastic part on the right side of your phone's attachment. You can view an attached photo of the type of PopSocket required for this project. It is designed specifically to fit and align with the charging coil, ensuring seamless Qi interaction.
