Popsocket Phone Dock
prusaprinters
Redesigned from JustIPrints dock to support a USB-C right angle adapter (see link below, tolerances allow for a press fit of the right angle adapter so that it does not require repositioning with each dock but can support varying thicknesses of phones/cases) as well as a cut out for phones with pop sockets, which also reduces the amount of material used to print. 1/6/2023: I have included a new version of the model without the front lip. I have found that trying to swipe up from the bottom of the phone while it is in the dock is doable but annoying with the front lip in place and the front lip is not really necessary as the USB-C connection and pop-socket will hold the phone in place. The removal of the front lip, along with adding a chamfer to where the USB-C adapter is placed also allows me to use this dock to charge my wireless mouse (Steel Series Aerox 3) but your mileage may vary. Notes: This was designed to be adhered to a surface as the angle the phone sits needed to reduced from 15 degrees to 5 degrees in order to support the right angle USB-C adapter without raising the phone too far from the surface. I currently use this as a dock at my desk without adhesion, but it would be recommended as I still have to hold down the dock in order to get the phone out as the USB-C connection is tight.I have tested this with generic Amazon basic USB-C cables as well as the slightly wider Google provided USB-C cables. Please let me know if you have issues with the current model and I can make modifications. Right Angle Adapter: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08CDGHQWF
