PopSocket MagSafe retrofit base
thingiverse

Introduction

I created this base because I wanted a PopSocket but didn't want to glue it to my new MagSafe case. Similar items go for $30+ so designing this was a no-brainer.

Materials

Printer/PLA

MagSafe sticker: can be found on Amazon, eBay, etc.

PopSocket or whatever holder thing you like

Instructions

Print the front plate first which is about 1mm thick. DO NOT remove the print, leave it on the bed

Put the MagSafe sticker facing down

Print the back plate on top of the front plate. Set a Z-Axis offset of about 1mm

Remove the finished base from the bed

Attach your PopSocket on the circular marker
