Popsocket Bevel Ring
thingiverse
I created this because I was fed up with my Popsocket getting snagged while sliding my phone into my pocket. I wanted something nearly invisible, so you'd barely notice it's there. I aimed to make it slender enough for a firm grasp on the Popsocket, but folks with larger fingers may struggle to use this design. To attach it to the phone, I used a spray adhesive from Home Depot. Updated V2 - This version boasts a smaller footprint and comes with a matching cap. V2 is designed specifically for use with its corresponding cap. The cap's edges were lowered to meet the bevel ring, creating a smoother transition and minimizing the risk of snagging. I printed the ring at 100% infill and used a file to create slight dimples on opposite sides, enabling easy grabbing of the cap. As shown in the photos, the smaller footprint allows my new case with a kickstand to fit comfortably.
