The player must precisely time the button press to propel the ball over this obstacle. A force gauge indicates how forcefully the pop will be, based on when the player hits the button. If timed incorrectly, the ball either falls short of reaching the next barrier or soars off course. The popper's design consists of two 3D printed components: spherical shells that enclose the ball and a bed of cylindrical pins resting on a solenoid that pierce each shell to launch the ball upward. Each pin's tip is angled to ensure a smooth transition from one level to the next, guiding the ball with precision.
