Pop-Up Dragon Wooden Toy

This YouTube video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5Rk60d_HDfM) demonstrates a mechanism similar to one I had in the past, which I couldn't understand how it worked. Consequently, I devised my own design using a 4-bar/slider combination. The video and second GIF showcase the mechanism in action. A spring is also required to retract it (not shown). The video was edited with Virtualdub and converted to MP4 using MyMP4BoxGui. GifApp created the GIFs, while Simlab Composer 6 produced the render, which was then edited with IrfanView. The ZIM file can be viewed on both IOS and Android devices via the free Simlab Viewer app.
