Pop-Up-Canopy Flag Pole Mount
thingiverse
Flags for flagpoles 1.25" and smaller are supported. For canopy legs or other square tube structures 1.1" and smaller in diameter, you're all set. The pre-drilled holes on these flags are designed to accommodate a bungee cord that secures the mount by looping it over the tent's frame, preventing the mount from sliding down. The hooks themselves ensure the flag stays locked onto the square structure so it can't be pulled out. A hole cutout is built into the flagpole tube, ready for tapping in an M8-sized tightening knob to clamp the flag pole firmly in place if desired. Printing with a solid infill will yield the best results. However, 10% infill is acceptable for single flags measuring 3'x5' on calm days. For more substantial prints or windy conditions, increase the infill accordingly. Whether you have a moving bed or not, and how jerky it operates, may affect the need for supports. This particular model was printed upright (rotated 90 degrees) with no additional support required, only a skirt to complete the job.
