Print FACE DOWN whenever possible unless you're intimately familiar with your printer and are confident that a different orientation would produce superior results. In my experience, printing face down yields the smoothest finish, but you may notice the tabs between the cover sagging slightly. To resolve this issue, I recommend employing a sharp knife to carefully trim away any excess material, then using sandpaper to refine the surface for a seamless appearance.
