Pop-Ring

This is a modification of Phone XR Flexible Case v3 by MatthiasChristiaens flexible iPhone case. I modified it in TinkerCAD to allow a finger handle. I believe it should allow modification to many other flexible cell phone *.stl files that can be 3D printed. I created 2mm thick insert that I have used to modify and print the 10r iPhone case (see: Flexible pop-ring insert.stl ). Until recently, I was using an attachment called a pop-socket, but because it would prevent charging my cell wirelessly I stopped using it. However, I did miss the security that the the pop-socket gave me. This modification (I’m calling Pop-Ring) allows for a hand grip and wireless charging. The idea is that you could use this to modify several other of your flexible cases to allow a collapsable finger handle to be added to many of your iPhone cases. To use the pop-ring stl: I import one of Matthaiis' flexible cases Into Tinkercad and then lay it down flat and place a 50mm hole somewhere on the back of the imported case. Than I import the “pop-ring” and center it over the hole that was just created. The final step to to group all three parts to make the modified case. Then export the grouped file to you slicer and eventual printer gcode to print
