I'm honing my Fusion 360 skills by tackling a personal project involving pop bottles. One task that seemed trivial but was actually quite challenging was creating threads, which surprisingly turned out to be a breeze thanks to Fusion 360's capabilities. However, I encountered an issue when trying to replicate the PCO1881 soda bottle thread in the software - it closely resembles Metric 28x2mm thread. Now, let's shift focus to my gardening endeavors. As someone who tends to their outdoor garden and prefers non-organic methods, I'm interested in minimizing pesticide usage. One technique I've discovered is using dish soap mixed with water as a deterrent, but I also wanted to experiment with cayenne pepper as an alternative. After adding cayenne pepper to a pop bottle, I encountered a problem - it kept clogging my sprayer. To resolve this issue, I designed a two-piece device that can be screwed onto a standard pop bottle. The first piece has a hollow center where you can place a cotton ball or coffee filter, and the second piece screws on top of it. By pouring the pepper mixture into one end and catching any residual powder in the other, I hoped to minimize waste. I printed one version last night but encountered a design flaw that caused it to leak, so I'm reprinting another copy now.
