I designed a simple enclosure for my Ender 3 that keeps its footprint almost unchanged, making it suitable for other printers with the same frame style and similar size. To print out are four arms (copper coloured as seen in the pictures), then any bag can be used to make the actual cover. Please note that **the bag will touch the build plate** at operating temperatures, so ensure it's safe under those conditions. Also, **keep the fans of the power supply unobstructed**, I simply cut a hole in the bag for this purpose. This design provides some benefits of a cover without requiring additional space, although it may not be as effective as box-style cover designs: * Higher build plate temperatures - I've successfully printed at up to 115 C * Reduced issues from drafts - I can now open windows while printing ABS without interruptions * Less warping issues - this is true for me, even with anecdotal evidence * Less hygroscopic issues - it increases the temperature around the spool, limiting moisture absorption or drying out the spool on very long prints and high bed temperatures. I used straight arms for three sides. The back left uses a slightly bent arm to the left to avoid the threaded z-axis rod. You can use different configurations and mirror the bend arm in your slicer if needed.
