This is a hack I use to have my power connector and cheap USB 3.0 docking station combined into one single convenient connector. It delivers the same functionality as a high-end USB-C docking station (power + super-fast USB + HDMI output, etc.) at a fraction of the cost. The USB and power barrel fit perfectly onto the plastic component, working flawlessly in the process. I designed it using Onshape's robust 3D modeling capabilities.
