I designed a miniature bucket garden for my boat because I couldn't find a suitable space for a traditional garden. Fresh herbs are essential to me, and I wanted to have them readily available in my kitchen. To create this compact garden, I used Fusion360 to design the components and 3D printed them on my Flash Forge Dreamer. Here's what you'll need to print: Three center columns One top center column One top lid Nine net pots Three plugs One water level plug One water fixture Four bucket caps (one-to-four ratio) Four bucket covers (one-to-four ratio) As for the components to purchase, I recommend the following: One standard bucket One Mini DC 12V 5W IP68 Waterproof Ultra-quiet Micro Brushless Water Oil Pump W3Y1 One clear tube with a diameter of 3 mm and length of 1 meter I use Simplify3D with these settings when printing with PLA: 100% infill Six solid layers on top and bottom Outline overlap: 50% Support pillars: 1.5 mm (only on net pots and center columns) Temperature: heatbed at 60°C, left extruder at 210°C To assemble the garden, attach the water fixture to the top column and the bucket caps to their respective covers. The diameter of the cap for the bucket is crucial; in my case, it matches the inner diameter of the bucket (294 mm), with a lip of 294 mm and an outer diameter of 320 mm. Feel free to use acrylic or wood instead if you prefer, which would save printing time.
