Description:I tried the magnetic purge bucket by Nivenante, but it didn't fit my P1P with its ARC enclosure, the magnets didn't rest flush on the metal backplate., so I decided to made a new design which follows the contours of the ARC.This is not really a remix as I made this one from scratch in Fusion 360. I have included the fusion .f3d file.My printer sits on antivibration feet recessed into the table top, so it is 8mm or so higher than if it was flat on the table, but the bin should still be ok. If your P1P is flat on the table, you may possibly need to make a hole or a notch for one of the acrylic side panel screws, or use a countersunk head screw. My table is not much wider than the printer, so I made the front facing part quite narrow. There's still plenty of volume for poops, you don't need a great volume, it's just to stop poops ending up on the floor behind the printer. Printing:I printed with P1P “0.20mm Standard” setting, using Jayo PETG to match the ARC printed bits, but you can use PLA. 15% infill and no brim needed. The corners have fillets, which I find stops the layers splitting.250g of filament around 6 hours 20mins print time.Magnets:The magnets required are 6mm x 3mm, the holes are printed at 6.15mm x 3mm, so the magnets push in quite nicely, but you may want to put a drop of glue in first to be sure.
