Pool vacuum - easy to print
thingiverse
This is my go at a pool vacuum:\r\nStandard garden hose connects to the front: water is directed down, redirected flat over the ground and blows all dirt into the other hole at the back end.\r\nThat hole is covered with a lightweight sock, held by a piece of wire. Dirt collects in the sock and can be emptied easily.\r\nThe vacuum itself is connected to a wooden stick which is held in place by a long screw M5.\r\nAn O-Ring can be added for the garden hose connector.\r\nI also glued some rubber material to the bottom to ensure the pool isn't punctured.\r\n\r\n... In the end: this is iteration 2 and it works surprisingly well :-)\r\n\r\n150 Minutes print with three shells and 26% infill.\r\nDesigned to print without support with only slight bridging challenges for the internal water path.\r\nWorked fine on my heavily modified Anet A8.\r\n\r\nHave fun printing and using your copy!
