Pool Vacuum Clip
thingiverse
The clip that connects my pool vacuum head and net to my pole snapped off. These replacement clips are relatively inexpensive, only costing about $1.50 each, but the local store was closed for the day and it's a long 8-mile drive there. A fun challenge awaits in designing and modeling this part using Inventor software, followed by 3D printing. My new clip is printed in ABS plastic and seems sturdy enough to handle the job - time will tell if it can withstand the test of actual use.
