Pool Torpedo
thingiverse
I updated the design by creating a larger cavity in the torpedo bottom, which I call the Torpedo Bottom V2. This change allows more weight to be added, addressing an issue where the torpedo might become too buoyant based on individual materials and settings. This is a compact, torpedo-shaped toy designed for playtime in the pool. You throw it in and then retrieve it from the bottom. The torpedo consists of two parts: a bottom half and a detachable top. To weigh down the bottom half, you load BB's into the top before screwing it down securely using #4 sheet metal screws that are 0.375 inches long. For durability, I used PLA for the body and PETG for the impact-resistant top. The fins on the torpedo enable it to spin as it descends to the pool floor.
