Pool Slide Base Cover
thingiverse
I created a custom cover to fit over an old pool slide base, carefully designing it to match my unique dimensions, which means you may need to make modifications if you want to use this design for your own project. This model was specifically designed to be printed from the bottom up without any supports, and I included a clever feature that allows you to remove the center section with a .2 mm gap between it and the base after printing. This is a great way to save time and reduce post-processing work. Keep in mind that each instance of this cover will require two separate prints, one for each side, which can be assembled together using two 1 1/2 inch bolts and two half-inch nuts. I used square nuts during my print, but standard nuts should also work just fine.
