Replacement Basket for Hayward Classic SK-B11016 Swimming Pool Skimmer Basket. Much stronger than its original counterpart. Best printed with ASA material, although PLA or PLA+ or Nylon would also suffice - until chlorine and water take their toll on the PLA! The shape has been reimagined to minimize the need for supports, unlike the original design which required excessive amounts of them to print successfully. Print upside down, as I did, and you'll likely find that no supports are needed at all, with only a minimal amount of stringing to contend with. I've included the Autodesk Inventor files, as well as STLs and some photos of the original basket for reference. The handle has been omitted, but there's still plenty of room on the inside walls to grasp and pull out the basket during cleaning sessions. Two sets of files have been provided: one set featuring 4mm diameter horizontals, and another with 5mm diameter horizontals. I'm currently running with the 5mm version due to our local climate's abundance of fine blossom in the summer months, but the 4mm option may prove sufficient for most climates and litter conditions.
