This optimized water outflow nozzle was engineered to boost the Maytronics DOPLHIN Dynamic Plus pool cleaning robot's water throughput capabilities, particularly when tackling steep walls. Efficient suction is directly tied to its flow rate, so I made sure this part would deliver. I designed it using Sketchup, sliced it with Simplify 3D, and printed it with a German RepRap X400 Pro 3D printer. After several failed attempts with ABS (which suffered from warping), I settled on PLA - black colored for its superior outdoor durability compared to semi-transparent PLA.
