At Work we utilize a Mariner 3S ClubLiner Pool Robot to maintain our Swimmingpool in pristine condition. The Robot operates flawlessly, but cleaning its Filters afterwards was always a chaotic mess, so I embarked on a quest for a more efficient method. It's simply a Piece of 16mm Plastic Conduit with a Pipe coupling, three customized Airsoft Plastic Ball Bearings glued to the conduit, a thin Tip-Bearing glued on top and a 16mm Mountable Stand - all mounted inside a spacious Bucket. With the Filter stacked atop the Conduit, I employ a Garden Hose with an adjustable Nozzle to thoroughly clean the Filter while allowing it to rotate in the Water spray. I also drilled a hole in the Bucket to facilitate water drainage. When the Filter spins, it functions like a Centrifuge, effectively expelling Dirt, Sand and Hairs, leaving a meticulously cleaned Filter behind. The Conduit can be easily extracted from the Bucket for maintenance. This setup operates magnificently and is (mostly) rustproof.
