Pool Net Accessory Clip
thingiverse
If you have a pool, you might have a net with a long pole to remove debris from the water. Keeping these easily accessible near the pool - especially for an above ground pool - is challenging. They tend to fall over if leaned against the pool or stairs. Maybe you want access to these things while in the pool instead of getting out, so leaving them on the patio or deck or in a shed is inconvenient. This is a clip that holds the pole to the stairs of the pool to keep it out of the way but accessible. The clip attaches the large side to the vertical part of the railing, and the small side holds the pole. This was designed to clip to the side of the following pool stairs: [Blue Wave Easy Pool Step Entry System w/ Gate NE138](https://bluewaveproducts.com/collections/steps/products/easy-pool-step-entry-system-w-gate?variant=35626071569). It may fit others as well. Clip above one of the large parts in the vertical spindles on the railing, as these act as a stop to ensure the clip does not slide down. Printing: Printed as a solid model in PETG. PETG is recommended due to its flexibility, as the model is deliberately tight sized to firmly hold against the railing and the pole for the net. The printed material will need to flex, and ABS really doesn't cut it in this regard. Also expect PLA will not hold up so well in the sun and to chemicals like PETG will.
