We acquired a house with a pool, but the existing hoses were defective due to holes. In response, I purchased a new hose, which unfortunately proved too large for our skimmer box. This adapter resolves the issue by allowing the new hose to fit snugly over the top and securely connecting to the bottom in the intake of the skimmer box. The first tapered section measures 38.4mm to 40.5mm, while the second taper ranges from 37mm to 39.9mm.
