Diameter Reducing Adapter for Intex Steel Frame Pool Hose This adapter is designed to connect a 38mm hose to the smaller diameter inlet/outlet of an Intex steel frame pool. Its unique conical shape ensures a secure fit on both the inside and outside, while the external ripples provide extra grip to keep the hose in place. After the 2019 pool season, I removed the adapter for inspection and found it still in excellent condition, with no signs of wear or looseness throughout the entire season. It has clearly proven its durability and reliability. Some users reported that their initial adapters were too tight, so I developed a modified version with a looser fit and slightly reduced length to address this issue. The adapter was printed using PETG material in 2019, which provided sufficient outdoor resistance. However, for the 2020 season, I switched to TPU printing, further enhancing its durability and performance.
