Introducing my pool hoover!after a few failed attempts to get a 3d printed pool hoover to work i stripped it down to a basic design… mainly to test it but found it works really quite well so i have left it as it is.the basic design works on the venturi effect from your garden hose to suck water and debris from the bottom of your pool.it has a garden hose quick release / snap designed into it for ease of use.you will need to get / borrow a sealing Oring to get a proper seal from you hose.the exit is made for a 32mm ID (internal diameter pipe) pretty common filter hose size and should just push on over the top part. this is used to transport the water and rubbish to a point for it to be filtered before returning back to the pool.i get one of my kids to hoover up the stuff (they really like to do this!) and i hold the other end of the flexible tubing with a kitchen sieve to catch the rubbish in. this way the water goes back into the pool and cleans as it goes! A WORD OF WARNING!!!as the hose supply jet hole is quite small it will produce a very powerful jet of water if used out of the pool!so PLEASE be mindful when you connect the hose and to make sure KIDS ARE SUPERVISED AT ALL TIMES when using this pool accessory!measurements for the pool hoover are 200mm long x 32mm wide x 65mm thick.you will need to print it standing up and i have built in supports so anyone can print it!just make sure you can print 200mm high and it will fit!printing preferences are what you deem to be good enough to print it and make it water tight.thank you for looking and happy printing!if you have any feedback / suggestions for this please message me and i will do my best to come up with something.i may have a few upgrades for this soon to make it easier to one person to use.but for the time being im enjoying watching my kids duck dive and play around getting all the stuff off the bottom! i mean we dont want to make it too easy now do we! ;p
