Pool Filter Lock

Pool Filter Lock

thingiverse

The original filter tightener no longer seems suitable for my pool filter canister; thus, an alternative design is provided. Time will determine its durability against sunlight, chemicals, and aging. On September 15, 2013, a revised version was created with improvements like a thicker nut-capture area and a smaller, hot-melted nut hole. Additionally, the design changed from four to three finger grips for better usability. The 3D printing settings include slicing at 0.2mm thickness, three perimeters, and 25% infill. Post-printing, acetone was used to fuse the exterior and create a smoother surface, aiming to prevent ingress of foreign particles.
