If your above-ground pool features a filter unit similar to the one depicted, it might not fit into a standard Intex Type A or C filter housing. The latter type of filter fits loosely within its housing but fails to seal properly at either the top or bottom, allowing a wide range of debris to bypass it. These adapters enable you to utilize this kind of filter with your pool. I have also included an additional replacement part for the original pump locking collar in case you're experiencing trouble finding the original filters, but you've lost or damaged that particular component.
