Pool Fence Extenders and Spacers

Pool Fence Extenders and Fence Bracket Spacers. I designed these items due to my government issuing mandatory pool fence inspections every 3 years.(Money Grab!) I came up with the idea when shovelling dirt to decrease the gap under the fence.(<140mm). There had to be an easier way! I sat down and designed these extenders at different lengths.(30-100mm). I made a hole in the middle for insertion of a metal rod(8.0-8.2mm diameter) to strengthen the print. I then inserted the assembled extenders in the bottom of the vertical fence railings and used a heap of silicone to hold in place. I also made a spacer for the fence attachment that was coming away from the side because of movement of boundary fence. I passed inspection, 3D printer has saved me a lot of time and money. Cheers.
