This mash-up was created as a birthday gift for my friend who is absolutely crazy about "The Tao of Pooh" http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Tao_of_Pooh It was a huge success. UPDATE - I noticed the bottom isn't flat, so I've uploaded a new STL with a flat bottom, making it easier to add a message to the underside. I love the idea of adding a message to the base and used this quote from the book "A clever mind is not a heart" on the file called "poohdda+heart-mind saying.stl" Adding text wasn't too difficult using Blender to extrude the text and Tinkercad.com to make the text a hole and put it on the base. I also wanted to help educate your friends and family, so I found this great 2-minute video that explains home 3D printing in an amusing, simple, and straightforward way (made by and for schools): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YpHv19jdloI Instructions The pictures are of this printed on an Ultimaker with a 0.4mm nozzle, using PLA at 0.2mm layer height and 0.8mm walls. I got some gaps, especially on Pooh's head which seems to be the most challenging spot, so I've also uploaded my pooh-crown-4-testing.stl file. Make sure you have your settings set correctly for this part to come out right before printing the whole thing. Next time I'll try 0.1mm layer height and 1.2mm walls, as shown in the picture.
