Pooh - Sun Catcher

Pooh - Sun Catcher

I wanted to explore the possibility of printing a sun catcher without relying on complex mechanisms. So here's my attempt, featuring none other than Winnie the Pooh himself. The frame functions as the leading in a stained glass window, requiring transparent filament with a switch to black at the layer where the lead lines would be printed. Once complete, the colored pieces are inserted into the corresponding gaps within the frame. I employed PVA glue and allowed it to set over several days. I used PLA for the filament, occasionally substituting PET when I couldn't find translucent/transparent PLA in the desired color. While this worked most of the time, some PET pieces needed to be sanded down slightly to ensure a proper fit.
