PonyTrope Adapter and Center Carousel Remix

Many thanks to Kelly Egan for crafting this fantastic project! The fusion of 3D printing, clever electronics, and engaging Arduino programming is truly thrilling to work with! NEMA ADAPTER: To build my version of this innovative project, I will be using a NEMA 17 to drive the carousel's rotation. The custom-made adapter converts the original ponytrope center hub's 4-bolt pattern into a snug fit on a 5mm diameter NEMA shaft. Having already perfected the STL file for the piece in the illustration, I made an improvement by repositioning the M3 set screw further toward the adapter's center, where there is ample material - March 22, 2015. CENTER BASE CAROUSEL: Upon redesigning the carousel base, I concluded that an angled upper section enhances its overall appearance with a beautifully intricate crown molding effect - March 28, 2015. TOP PLATE (NEMA MOUNT): I successfully updated the STL file to rectify an issue with the center lip's diameter. The revised design ensures accurate printing of this vital component - March 28, 2015. MAGNET ADAPTER: To streamline the electronics inside the carousel base, I have decided to relocate the magnet downwards instead of lifting the sensor upwards. Specifically, a versatile 12.7 x 5mm magnet from Adafruit has been selected for this purpose.
