Pony Cookie Cutter
prusaprinters

This is a pony cookie cutter based on a hopefully recognizable character. It is based on a PNG artwork commissioned for this purpose (stated up front that it would be posted as a cookie-cutter to Thingiverse under a Creative Commons license) from Arsh Darksbane - http://arshnessdreaming.deviantart.com/

Instructions

I have not worked out yet the best combination of holes to allow easy removal of the material without leaving unsightly blobs, so there are no holes in the files for the moment.

You should probably open the SCAD file and add some holes (or you can drill them afterwards, as I did).

The STL file is the one I used to print the one in the photograph.

To use the SCAD file you will need to download the Pinkie*.dxf files into the same folder.

The v2 version has been printed, but not yet tested. In an attempt to resolve the issue of where to place the holes, I used a flat union of the original design and cut it out of the stl, then added back in bracing (the uploaded file contains two extra braces missing from my print, added due to a bend point obvious in the printed result) so that hopefully any swell from thicker dough will at least be in the shape of the pony. It is also deeper on both the impression, and the cutting edge - possibly too deep, again this is untested. I will update again after testing it.
Category: Kitchen & Dining
