This play boat can be hazardous, especially when used on open water. The saddles are designed to fit a 10" Sch 40 pipe. Buoyancy depends on the length and number of tubes used. If you're interested in precise calculations, that's something for experts to handle. For now, let's focus on the DIY approach. You can see basic setup examples in pictures, where you'll need to screw the saddles onto the tube using a generous amount of silicone sealant around the holes. The saddles are designed for standard 2x4 lumber. To ensure longevity, consider using rot-resistant materials instead. The trolling motor mount is optional and has not been tested yet. If you decide to use it, make sure to have a backup attachment in case the primary one fails. For added safety, consider blowing up a trash bag inside the tube as a secondary precaution in case of an emergency. To create a platform, simply print rear covers for all tubes.
