Pontiac Fiero Window Switch

Pontiac Fiero Window Switch

thingiverse

This is the master switch cover for power windows on all Pontiac Fiero models, spanning every year from 1984 to 1988. Initially, the 1984 Fieros boasted a sleek grey switch, while the subsequent years featured a bold black one. Over time, these switches tend to degrade, developing unsightly cracks and fading due to age. This meticulously crafted replacement part is modeled after the original design and can be expertly printed to restore your vehicle's functionality. Note: Replacing the switch does not require disassembling the entire assembly, unless you need to give it a thorough cleaning. To facilitate easy removal, simply press down on the two dimples situated on either side of the switch, and it will effortlessly pop out. For optimal results, I strongly advise printing this switch using either ABS or PETG filaments. The heat generated by a warm car can cause PLA-printed switches to melt and become unusable. To ensure a successful print, position your 3D printer horizontally if possible and use supports to prevent any warping or distortion. Additionally, opt for 100% infill to achieve a sturdy and reliable switch that will withstand the rigors of daily use.
