ponoko files for spannerhands spool system mk6 windows
thingiverse
I wanted to build a few spannerhands spool system mk6 boxes, but I don't have access to a laser cutter - so I decided to have them printed at ponoko.com. It's a pretty reasonable cost-wise online service. I created two EPS files; one has three of the front window and four of the back, while the other has four front and three back. If you cut out both sets, you'll end up with windows for seven boxes. It seemed like a good idea to share the files to save someone else from doing all the work. Here is the link: https://www.ponoko.com/design-your-own/products/spannerhands-spool-system-mk6-windows-15127 When making the order on ponoko, I used "Plastic" -> "Acrylic - Clear", with a thickness of 0.060 inches, and dimensions "P3 - 31.102 inches long x 15.118 inches wide". That's the size that the EPS files are set to. One sheet of each cost me $55.46USD at the time I made this post, plus shipping, which comes out to around $8 per box. I hope it helps someone else!
