pong paddle

Standard size paddle (250mm x 150mm). Handle is 100mm tall including overlap with blade. Handle is 36mm x 24mm at the base, and gently tapered. For the frame, use a stiff filament like PLA, at 25-40% infillThe handle can be printed with various materials, and PLA works fine. It should be printed with the slot pointing upward. The handle will friction-fit without glue, but glue can improve stiffness. For the rubber, use a flexible filament like TPU at 15-25% infill with no top layer - this creates a spongy surface for spinning the ball. Which infill pattern works best? I have no idea. Let me know in the comments what you find. The rubber will definitely need to be glued. CA (super) glue, PU (gorilla) glue, Silicone glue, and other strong glues should work. I recommend printing 2 paddle frames first, then using them to sandwich the rubber layers as you glue them, with clamps around the edges.
