This is a solid and durable outlet for a pond to get water flowing into an artificial creek. We use a little pond as an upper pool to have a creek running the freshly filtered water into the main pond. Simply cutting a slot in one of these pools was not durable enough and over time the plastic pool tore apart. After printing the parts you want to cut out the openings, they were just being filled with one layer to prevent the parts from warping. Drill all holes open to a diameter that your screws will be able to cut themselves in. I used stainless wood screws 4,5x35 mm and drilled holes 3,5 mm wide. Once you finished the parts you can simply place it onto the pond and mark all the edges. Use the frame with the holes inside to mark the drilling spots. Afterwards you need to make the rectangular cutout into the plastic pool and drill 22 holes around it. To tighten things I used a 3mm rubber mat and cut out the similar shape of the frame twice. For installation, you want to put everything together in the right order and tighten all the screws very carefully to not break anything. This is a stable outlet for a pond. We use a standard pond as an upper pool, from which the freshly filtered water flows into an artificial creek running down to the garden pond. Previously, we simply cut a slot in the top of the pond, but over time this became unstable and enlarged, causing the system to leak. This outlet is equipped with two rubber gaskets and provides the water with a targeted exit. The printed parts were sealed to increase the surface area on the print bed and prevent warping. After printing, you can cut out the openings. The holes should be enlarged so that the screws have enough material to cut into. I use stainless steel Spax 4,5x35 mm and drilled 3,5mm pilot holes. To make the cutout in the pond, place the frame with the holes inside and mark the cutting lines with a marker. Use a Dremel or a vibrating saw to make the cut. You can also use a 3mm rubber mat to cut out the corresponding gaskets. For assembly, you need to carefully attach all the parts in the correct order and tighten the screws firmly to avoid damaging anything.
